7 Ways to look Good in Photos

Not everyone is as photogenic as the stars on the cover of your favorite magazine. But paying attention to your minor moves can help you get a Poster-Perfect Picture!
Read on and Learn how to make the camera see you the way you see yourself.

1. Focous your eyes just slightly about the camera lens

Move your face forward a bit, and tip down your chin.

2. Put your tongue behind your teeth and smile

It will relax your face.

3. For standing photos

Belly in, buttocks tight, shoulders back, spine straight. Stand tall (and look thin).
You can totally trick the camera into making you appear taller and leaner (what belly pooch?). Here’s how: Stand up straight and turn slightly to the side so one shoulder is closer to the camera. Once you’ve hit this position, look toward the lens.

4. To feel at ease

Try closing your eyes, then opening them slowly just before the photo is taken.

5. Photos exaggerate everything

So go easy on the makeup. For women under 30, a little mascara and lip gloss; over 30, add a touch of concealer. That’s It!

6. Ditch the Double Chin

Beware of short cameramen. Seriously, if the lens is below your eye level, then you’ll gain an extra chin — not hot. The lens should be at your eye level or above. Finally, project your chin out an inch or so more than you normally would.

7. Keep your arms by your side

But not glued there. To look natural, they should be a little away from your body.

Tip: Hide the evidence of bad photos!!

Been tagged in a Facebook photo where you look… not your best? While you can’t wow in every shot, you can bury the evidence of less-than-stellar pics. Just click on your tagged name and “Untag” yourself. It won’t delete the shot since the photo isn’t yours, but it will hide the trail by getting your name out of people’s Mini-Feed updates.
