The dynamic duo of Nousheen and Shabnam Rana is new name making waves in the fashion industry. Formally known as NSR, the label has made a following for themselves; with their unique style, cutting edge aesthetics and vibrant color palette. NSR is out with their new EID Collection that utilizes different tones of the same color, and plays with a family of beiges, oranges, reds and golds. The cuts are clean, simple & based on a sleek silhouette.
The new collection is dominated by bright colors and pleasing color palette such as greens, blues and golds. The fabrics used for this collection are pure velvet, jamawar, chiffon, plushy, grip and satin, and the designer has used “rich fabrics for an opulent and grand feel.”
“This Eid collection is all about feeling comfortable and relaxed. The collection is designed keeping in mind the “soft feel” and enjoying the festive season to the fullest. The colors are vibrant and the suits have flowy cuts with a small broche”, said Nosheen Rana, co-founder of NSR.
The collection has also introduced a new concept known as Britain cuts. The cuts are done on net to make them more prominent and vivid. The new collection can be seen at the upcoming fashion extravaganza Easy Breezy Chic, being held at L’Atelier. The collection can also be viewed at Tehxeeb in Lahore and NSR’s outlet at DHA block Z building no. 64/2nd floor. NSR also plans on bringing their EID Collection to Karachi Soon.
“In my opinion it should be an outfit that perfectly and completely amalgamates the east and the west”, said Nosheen Rana when asked about her ideal Eid dress. About prevailing winter trends she said: “Deep red and royal green are being introduced in winters and this color palette truly suits this festive season.”
The price range of the Eid collection is extremely reasonable and has something for everyone’s pocket. The range starts from Rs 8000/- and goes up to Rs 20000/-. The embellishments done on the collection are minimal with only delicate and small sized stones used.
